S.Z. Putnam
S.Z. Putnam is a Hmong American author from Wisconsin who unapologetically writes about "the hard things in life." Her debut book of poetry and prose, "Loose Change: Picking up the Pieces" highlights her journey of grief, trauma, and self-discovery.
“I wrote this book for everyone, including myself, as this topic is so relevant in today’s world. More than this, I wrote this book to shed light that the time of enduring and feeling alone can come to an end. Change can happen only one day at a time, but any single step in the direction of healing is a story I want to be a part of.”

S.Z.’s upcoming works include a children's book and another poetry book highlighting the trauma of war.
